ABOUT ME

I love old buildings and the history they hold within their walls.

I was brought up in Yorkshire and always lived in ‘old’ houses furnished with antiques of all kinds. As a child, I would frequent antique shops and attend auctions with my parents – my fascination and appreciation of all things old began at an early age!

After running a successful business restoring antique porcelain for over 25 years, I decided on a career change and began to renovate old houses. I have had 15 years experience of project management and gained practical experience by working hands on alongside builders and craftspeople of all skills. During this time I also learnt the art of millinery, designing and creating beautiful hats for special occasions.

I offer a bespoke personal service suited to your requirements and will take on the smallest job. I am creative, meticulous, have a good eye for colour and design and a sound knowledge of antiques. I am reliable, approachable, organized and financially aware, therefore will work thriftily to suit all budgets. Where and whenever possible I prefer to renovate, restore and recycle rather than replace with new.

I am based in Marlborough and will travel within reason.
